The Tyrannosaurus Flex

[ 2 rounds HIIT ] + [ 2 rounds STR & TONING ]

While the Tyrannosaurus Rex wasn’t known for having the greatest arms, its distant relative The Tyrannosaurus Flex definitely was. The T-Flex began to branch off from the shared Tyrannosauridae sub family of the T-Rex when the first animals of the T-Flex species began incorporating upper body movements into their hunting patterns. They climbed trees, push and pulled whatever objects were in their way, and were even known for punching, throwing, and slamming their prey!

Compared to their small armed T-Rex cousins, the T-Flex had significantly more developed arms, delts, and upper back muscles. This increase in upper body tone helped to add balance their overall physique, resulting in a truly
powerful and mighty sight to behold!

..which is why this class is named after this legendary beast! The T-Flex incorporates all upper body movements involved in pushing and pulling movements as well as stability of the shoulder joints. So If you're looking to strengthen, tone, and improve your entire upper body, The Tyrannosaurus Flex is the class for you!

The Jack of All Trades

[ 1 round HIIT ] + [ 3 rounds STR & TONING ]

The saying “Jack of all trades, master of none" is commonly misinterpreted as meaning someone who is just simply okay at several things. In modern times, though, the less unflattering couplet "but often times is better than a master of one" has been added to this old saying. And when it comes to human behaviour and movement, this couldn’t be more true.

What’s amazing quad strength if your core can’t even hold a plank? What good do amazing biceps do if your legs can’t carry you up a small hill? To move optimally, each of our major muscle groups should not only be strong, but should also be able to work in tandem with each other. And so The Jack of All Trades is a much better approach than mastering just one specific thing when it comes to general health and fitness.

And so our while our workout “The Jack” focuses on the upper body, it also incorporates several lower body and core movements into the mix for a better balanced full body workout. If you’re trying improve your entire upper body while also improving your core and lower body a bit then The Jack of All Trades is the class for you!
